I have been looking online for
Schools That Offer Landscape Architecture
for a Landscape Design Education.
Seems as though there are many colleges
and universities advertising online and offline campuses,
but not so many offering Landscape Design Courses.
You will however find it on the education links here.
Students are exposed to many other facets of related fields
like marketing, economics, personnel management,etc.
They also learn how to prepare landscape estimates and bids
for specific projects.
A person interested in a Landscape Design Education
should also concentrate on developing surveying skills,
construction,ecology,site design,urban planning
and reading prints.
Comprehensive study programs of theory and practice
can cover every aspect of landscaping and garden design.
Working through real life projects and designs is a must,
as well for learning in any field and especially
in construction related careers.
You should be looking for a college close to where you live,
unless your willing to move.
There is also the online option for getting your bachelors degree
and maybe finding a part time landscaping job
for hands on experience.
Some people go to college for a four year degree just to find out
its not what they like because they
had not experienced the work first hand.
The Landscape Design Education blog is here
to try and help you understand
just some of the basics involved in finding
Schools That Offer Landscape Architecture,
as well as trying to give a little insight
on what the career itself may involve.
You will find here a couple of the Colleges and Universities online and off,
That are offering Landscape Design Courses.
